Private Infrastructure and Clinical Supervision Allowance (PICS)

From 2011, in addition to funding the provision of the medical specialist training posts, the STP is providing support to the private sector.

Currently funded STP training posts in the private sector can apply for additional clinical supervision and training infrastructure funding under the Commonwealth's Department of Health and Ageing 'Private Infrastructure and Clinical Supervision Allowance'.

The maxiumum amount of funds available for each private sector full time equivalent training post is:

• $30,000 (GST exclusive) per annum, pro rata for clinical supervision
• $10,000 (GST exclusive) pro rata, once every three years for private infrastructure

Please note: Only one application per training post may be submitted
