The STP Stakeholder Resources project aims to increase resources and information available to STP stakeholders.

The objectives of the project are to:

• Increase networking opportunities for STP stakeholders
• Obtain regular feedback for continuous improvement
• Provide assistance to applicants during STP application rounds
• Provide increased and clearer information on STP reporting requirements
• Provide information regarding the Medicare Benefits Schedule in relation to trainees
• Improve lines of communication between participants and the College

Resources produced for this project include a STP stakeholder newsletter which will be released every 6 - 8 weeks, and will be a key source of relevant news, information, resources and notifications. It will feature links to FAQ's, funding updates, new developments, support projects, and other relevant material. A regular series of group teleconferences will be trialled as another way to improve communication between the college and STP participants. The teleconferences will give participants an opportunity to ask any queries they have regarding STP, as well as network with other participants involved with the program. Both the newsletter and teleconferences will commence in February 2012. There will also be a new application resource to assist participants prepare their applications when rounds open.
